Facilities are pitiful - No DJ studios even though the uni is "the best for DJ performance", (they say they have a DJ studio but its just a classroom with only one decks that connect to the main speakers and all the DJ students practically have to fight to get that one deck. majority of the time though its the same 5 people who get them every week) - None of the studios are ACTUALLY sound proof. if you record vocals live and someone's talking outside the studio or even walking, you can hear it in your audio track. There are only 3 real studios in penn street and 2 in orsman. the rest of them are classrooms - No sound engineering studios (both are classrooms) and only 1 lecturer in the whole school that teaches sound engineering module - no vocal studios (they have 2 really bad, not soundproof vocal booths one in each campus for recording vocals) but for practicing singing? nope they only have the vocal classroom which again is shared between ALL vocal students when there's no lectures happening - Studio computers are really slow and not updated regularly -The lights in studio 1 orsman have been flickering since i've been a student here they havent fixed it - as you can tell im fed up with them saying they have so many studios when half of them are classrooms. the 6 studios they actually have are then given to bare students to fight over every week - don't understand why they give a student key card, since ive been here they've never worked Location - safe area in the heart of the uk music industry. horrible food options though and expensive rent (they don't provide student accommodation and they don't help you find one, they have a Facebook forum for accommodation that no one uses) Courses if you're planning on doing DJ, Vocals, Sound engineering just be prepared to do music production as 5/6 of the modules you will do each year will be music production and only 1-2 modules a year will be what you chose. Good lecturers - The only thing that makes the bad facilities bearable are the lecturers. most of them are good and give you good insight to the industry. the classrooms are small so you get specialized learning most of the time and 1-1s. the lecturers are really chill and treat you with respect. no complaints Events - they host quite a few events, networking events, social events, open mics etc and bring people from the industry to have talks which i like. not all of them are good though some people just come in to talk about themselves. but appreciate the dedication to hosting events. thats the only consistent thing point blank does Reception - the staff are really nice i cant lie. no problems in terms of who they are but have to bother them a lot to get them to do the simplest of things. ask them any question they either dont know or they tell you to email support and you have to chase it up or it gets lost in the pile of things they havent done. Technicians - some are nice , some you can tell only got the job to perv on the younger female students, some of them have a massive ego and love the power trip. its a hit or miss. but they do their job, i would even say theyre the most overworked out of all the staff Assignments - the assignments are reasonable and they give you enough time to get them done but the process of submitting assignments is so stressful and long. the website will always choose not to work when its time to submit and then you have to go through a long appeal process or else your work is capped at 40% for late submitting even though its their fault as the website never works. obviously they let you hand it in late without penalizing but the whole process is long considering its their fault Its hard to find a perfect uni with no complaints but i just wish i was more informed before making the decision to come here so i hope this has informed whoever is reading this. i will keep updates if they fix all these problems

I first saw the term "House Music" in an article in Electronic Musician magazine in '88-'89. They'd mentioned Chicago but seemed to think that House Music was called that because you could make records in your house. Later I found out it was because of the Warehouse. Not long after that, I heard Marshall Jefferson's "Move Your Body" as well as Ten City's "Devotion" and that was my introduction to the genre. Didn't realize it at the time but Colonel Abrams' records were also house and I'd heard those prior to that

Splendid retooling and vocal work on this! I couldn't help but notice, or more accurately, imagine that a further version worthy of pursuit would include Indian style modulations in timing and instrumentation along with a full blown female vocalist of that style reaching those impossible upper registers and vast reverbs. I'm just a fan of this category, so I hope I'm not imposing too much by saying I'd love to hear that. Hey, maybe AI could pop something out right quick.

Check this out, I figured out how to control all of your live looping steps from a single foot switch. Sounds too good to be true, right? Well, it’s not, it’s called the M-List MIDI Foot Switch. The guy that invented it was just thinking about using it for changing patches on his amps and effect units. But I figured out how to use it to control Ableton Live for one button live looping across multiple clips/tracks! ruclips.net/video/vqYwQdobPV8/видео.htmlsi=sicN2-xRw012Li8r
